it's official.

well, pratt officially has a girlfriend.

yep. that's right ladies. he is off the market.

let me start from the beginning.

i mentioned here that pratt has loved beth hunt ever since he was just a baby. in case you don't live in central arkansas...or get your news from channel 7, beth is a morning reporter for the katv station. she is a really pretty girl...who has always seemed so genuine and sweet on tv.

well, as early as four or five months old...when he'd be getting a bottle, he would hear her voice and smile in the morning. it was the funniest thing. and as he has gotten older, every time he hears her...no matter what he's doing, he will stop and find her on tv. and then just smile at her.

if he's in his highchair, he nearly breaks his neck trying to see her. it's really cute. and of course, clint thinks it's fantastic that pratt has such an eye for beauty at the ripe old age of one.

so, one of my very best friends, allison, got us a most precious gift yesterday. she and her family came to the birthday party. and gave us a signed picture of beth.

allie contacted her by email. told her the story about pratt. and about how his birthday was coming up.

well, i cried when i saw it. when i opened the picture. of course i did. allison had it framed and matted and everything.

and allie asked us to get a picture of pratt emailed to her last night because beth wanted to put it on the news this morning. (5 am to 7 am).

so this morning around 630, beth mentioned "allison, pratt and his mom"...and the story about him having a crush on her. and they showed his pictures...and talked about his first birthday!!!

i'm hoping that eventually i can get a link on the computer so you all can see it! i have several messages on facebook...and my mom spoke to several people who saw it! and aunt sheila, nana's sister watched it this morning!

so, allie...thank you for one of the most memorable gifts. as pratt gets older, i'll enjoy telling him the story.

i believe that beth mentioned that in fact she would be pratt's first girlfriend...so beth, if you're reading this...he said to tell you that he will take you up on that :)
