take me out to the ballgame...

hi everyone!

mom and dad took me to the arkansas travelers ballgame last night. it was my first trip to a baseball game. i asked mom if i could blog about what all we did...she said sure. she said it might be a jump start on becoming more like john grisham. i don't know who that is...but she says maybe someday i'll write like him. she is crazy.

anyway, things started off by cookie and poptart picking me and mom up. we met dad after work. here is me and poptart. and dad changing clothes in his truck.

dad was upgrading tickets for everyone. while we waited, cookie took me to see the aquarium. courtesy of the arkansas game and fish. i LOVED it! and i kept grabbing the girl next to me. i didn't know her, but she was cute. blonde hair. mom says i like blonde hair.

there was midget wrestling. my mom is afraid of small people...so she couldn't get too close. cookie said the small people looked like that show on tlc after jon and kate plus eight. this family of mine is crazy.

i was so excited for the game to start! here i am clapping my hands together! go travelers!

i got to wear my new hat from coco. and drink from a big boy water cup. and poptart let me chew on his program. poptart is great. he says one day we will travel around the states going to different ballparks. i can't wait!

oh, also...you may notice i'm wearing a shiny, silver necklace in these pictures. well, it was my mom's. but i love to chew on it. so she let me wear it. dad said it was my "mr. t. starter kit necklace." my dad is funny.

and here is poptart making a silly face. he lets me pull on his nose. it's my most favorite thing to do right now. pull on people's noses. i draw blood sometimes. because mom won't clip my fingernails. she once nearly cut my pointer off...so she's a little gun shy. i'm cool with that.

oh, and here is noah. noah is my new friend. his dad and my dad went to high school together. my dad has the best friends high school. lucky guy. anyway, noah loves my dad. he thinks he is funny. oh, and noah has a sister named hannah. mom says baby hannah was named after her. have i told you that my mom is nuts?

here i am posing for cookie's camera. anytime someone gets a camera out, i will look right at it and smile. i've even started smiling at the monitor in my room. i'm hilarious. and it freaks mom out...so i do it all the time. ha.

here are a few others that mom took. she takes pictures all.the.time. let me tell you...it gets old.

and here is a picture of all three of us. mom forgot to get one while everyone was at the game. so we took one ourselves on the way out. and look, i'm smiling in it too.

About Me

My photo
i'm a girl who likes to write. not a girl that's necessarily good at writing. it's cathartic, i think. and boy do i need that from time to time. i married a wonderful man named clint in may of 2007. he is everything i am not. he is calm. he makes plans. he is organized. his truck is always clean. his clothes are hung by types of shirt/color/size/etc. i'm full of nervous energy. i'm spur of the moment. i can't ever find what i'm looking for. we live in my car...pretty much. i'm lucky if my clothes are within ten feet of my closet. God gave us a precious angel of a baby in september of 2008. his name is pratt allen. he is 2.5 years old.we have another little one on the way. his name is max wesley. and he is due may 19th. somehow i'll be the mother of two boys. craaaaa.zy. i spend my days cleaning house. picking worms and caterpillars out of the flower beds. cooking meals. shopping at target. washing clothes. playing on the floor. reading books. doing puzzles. traveling to sonic. and the library. and blogging. i hope you enjoy our blog. feel free to leave a comment. hopefully it's a nice one. i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.
