1. painting my toenails. i've tried several different ways. i've tried sitting in a chair and bending down. nope...it hurts. i've tried sitting on the toilet and hiking my leg up on the sink. nope...it hurts too. so i've decided that i'll just pay the 25 dollars and go get a pedicure. i deserve it. i'm pregnant in the summer months. i deserve so much for this.
2. grocery shopping a. before the sun goes down, b. alone. the problem isn't shopping. the problem is pushing a shopping cart across hot, black asphalt and then standing there...trying to unload all those sacks from the cart...into my hot car. and then having to push that dang cart all the way back to the cart holder.
3. getting out of any chair without first kicking my right leg up and out. it gives me momentum.
4. shaving my legs. see number 1.
5. wearing closed-toed shoes. they're hot. they're tight. and they're not happening.
6. wearing a belt. sometimes pants just need a belt. none of mine are big enough. and i refuse to try any of clint's belts. because if they don't fit...well, it won't be pretty.
7. getting on the scales.
8. our down comforter. no way hosea. it's pretty much a sheet for me. and sometimes, not even that.
9. my undergarments. i'll leave it at that. it's best that way.
10. walking into our bedroom without first taking a peek at the baby's room. turning on the light and imagining what i'll see there in only a few short months. and smiling.

- i'm a girl who likes to write. not a girl that's necessarily good at writing. it's cathartic, i think. and boy do i need that from time to time. i married a wonderful man named clint in may of 2007. he is everything i am not. he is calm. he makes plans. he is organized. his truck is always clean. his clothes are hung by types of shirt/color/size/etc. i'm full of nervous energy. i'm spur of the moment. i can't ever find what i'm looking for. we live in my car...pretty much. i'm lucky if my clothes are within ten feet of my closet. God gave us a precious angel of a baby in september of 2008. his name is pratt allen. he is 2.5 years old.we have another little one on the way. his name is max wesley. and he is due may 19th. somehow i'll be the mother of two boys. craaaaa.zy. i spend my days cleaning house. picking worms and caterpillars out of the flower beds. cooking meals. shopping at target. washing clothes. playing on the floor. reading books. doing puzzles. traveling to sonic. and the library. and blogging. i hope you enjoy our blog. feel free to leave a comment. hopefully it's a nice one. i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.

u r so funny!! i can relate to most of these as well...i haven't had a chance to get a pedicure and i want one so bad!!! i have somehow managed to paint them though it ain't pretty!
i love that you spelled "hosea" biblically rather than, "jose"
have you started turning and bending SIDEWAYS to unload the washing machine? i remember the exact day- both times- that i couldn't reach in anymore b/c of a belly.
#10 makes all the others worth it in the end, I promise. ;)
I love looking back at my pregnancy blogs... you will too :) Have you been given any speeches on whether you'll circumcise? Oh yeah, I got that one...
