my little superhero.

my sister had a best friend growing up. his name was alex.

today, alex looks EXACTLY like edward cullen. yes, folks. edward cullen.

ten years ago, he didn't look like edward. well, he might have...but that's not what i remember about him.

what i remember is his superman cape. and his superman outfit. that he wore EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK.

i always wanted a little boy so that one day he would want to wear inappropriate clothes to church and school. clothes that don't match. superman capes. shoes that don't go together. maybe boots, undies...and no other clothes.

well, i got that little boy.

and i'm starting him off early on the bad habit-forming clothes. :) i'm sure that i'll regret this one day real soon. oh well...

also, ace and pratt have become the best of friends. ace doesn't really know what to do when pratt comes close. so he usually just falls over, and looks at me like, "seriously mom....how long is this kid going to be around!?"

here is pratt playing with ace's nose.

Take me to Alex as soon as I get to Arkansas. It looks like Ace can watch the boys.

Love it! I know exactly what you mean. I'm also going to be that mom who just lets her toddler wear whatever he feels like. If Parker wants to wear a superhero outfit to the grocery store or babysitter or wherever, I am totally going to let him. I think it fosters their creativity. However, I will be dressing him in smocked jumpers while he's still too little to protest. Can't wait to see ya'll.

totally makes me think that children might be possible. if my baby loved max, i would totally have a baby today.

About Me

My photo
i'm a girl who likes to write. not a girl that's necessarily good at writing. it's cathartic, i think. and boy do i need that from time to time. i married a wonderful man named clint in may of 2007. he is everything i am not. he is calm. he makes plans. he is organized. his truck is always clean. his clothes are hung by types of shirt/color/size/etc. i'm full of nervous energy. i'm spur of the moment. i can't ever find what i'm looking for. we live in my car...pretty much. i'm lucky if my clothes are within ten feet of my closet. God gave us a precious angel of a baby in september of 2008. his name is pratt allen. he is 2.5 years old.we have another little one on the way. his name is max wesley. and he is due may 19th. somehow i'll be the mother of two boys. craaaaa.zy. i spend my days cleaning house. picking worms and caterpillars out of the flower beds. cooking meals. shopping at target. washing clothes. playing on the floor. reading books. doing puzzles. traveling to sonic. and the library. and blogging. i hope you enjoy our blog. feel free to leave a comment. hopefully it's a nice one. i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.
