before pratt went to sleep saturday night, i took the time to explain to him what easter was all about. i think we lose that. i think that kids (because of their parents...and society in general) get lost in what it's really all about. and i'm going to hold myself accountable for always telling pratt what the day is really about.
and how it has nothing to do with the easter bunny. who is totally freaky to me. i mean, have you seen donnie darko? come on. that movie ruined me on the big bunny. and while we're on it...i just cannot do big animals in the mall that don't talk. you know, the easter bunny. he doesn't talk. because bunnies aren't supposed to, i guess. but what...they are supposed to sit in the mall and let kids sit on their laps. no thanks. (this all reminds me of the macy's elf story from david sardaris...hi.larious.)
poor pratt. someone else will have to take him to the easter bunny when he gets old enough to want that. because i can't do it. i really can't. it sends shivers down my spine just thinking about it.

cookie filing pratt's nails. hoping that maybe that will be less traumatic than clipping.

laughing at his sugar.

applesauce, his fave.
and before church. pratt is wearing his white bucks!

pratt's new cowboy hat!

twirling before his bath. sugar is so much fun!
