last night we were able to celebrate nana's birthday here at home! she got here around 530 and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner and much conversation. i think her favorite part was getting to ride on the rhino with clint :)
we were going to go out for dinner, but i've realized lately it seems so much easier to cook here. pratt has his highchair and he's just easier at home during meals. this is good actually because i really love to cook. and this gives me an excuse to do it.
i cooked a big dinner of roasted red bell pepper soup (loca luna's recipe), the invisible chef salad with green apples and pecans, bread and for dessert we had a french silk pie. (don't worry tanna, i didn't have any of the pie...it's chocolate and has sugar :)
we had a great night with nana. pratt got to cuddle with her until nearly 9 pm! and he didn't fuss once. i think the kid is picking up on this. if he doesn't fuss, we won't put him down. i mean, can you ask for anything better? he sleeps through the night...and wakes around 630 or 7. i can't bring myself to do it. oh well...sleep problems, here we come...i'm sure of it.
