i feel like i've come to you all so much lately for prayer.
there is a little girl. named harper (the sweet baby above) her mom is kelly. i don't know her. i have visited her blog...and i think maybe she went to ouachita. she looks so familiar to me. anyway, her little girl is in the nicu. heart problems maybe...but right now...breathing problems.
she blogged last night about the nurses. and about how the nurse didn't tell her until later, but she was actually concerned that baby harper wasn't going to make it. at some point, the nurse actually was worried about this.
it's my understanding that harper is better today.
but looking at those pictures of her with all the tubes. seeing all those cords. reading about how the nurses rarely smile....rarely give good news...it takes me back to when pratt was there. i still can't bring myself to look at those pictures. if you've ever had a baby in the nicu...or known anyone who has...you know how difficult this is. it's hard driving home without them. it's hard seeing their room without them. etc. etc.
please say a quick prayer for harper. babies aren't supposed to be sick. they are supposed to be healthy. and happy. and home with their moms and dads.
if you want to catch up on her progress, click on the icon on the right titled, "praying for harper". and pass this on to your friends.
thank you guys.

ps. my friend emily said that she thinks the purpose of these blogs is to make us all better mommies. i couldn't agree more. especially at times like these.
