funny faces.

pratt has gone from a typical, normal smile...to this really scrunched up smile. i have no idea why he does this. but it is so stinking funny. it's almost seems like a fake smile. almost too much of a smile. but i'm pretty sure he's just that happy. oh, to be that happy :) bliss, i tell you...bliss.

last night, he was making his many faces...and i had to get the camera out.

i apologize for the slobber all over his face and outfit. he pretty much slobbers all the time. i had taken off a bib that was soaking wet and hadn't put anything else back on him yet. unreal how well hydrated this kid is.

one more thing...this child may look exactly like his daddy...but who gave him his chin? that's right :) and sorry for the bridal photo...but it was the only one where i have a big smile and that um..."defined" chin of mine is sooo evident. let's hope he doesn't have my forehead...but it doesn't look like things are going to work out for him...sorry, pratt. my fault...

also, jenny singleton made a wonderful blanket for us. it's the cutest blanket with all the continents. it really great fabric. and it's usually our go-to mat when we get on the floor. oh, and in that second picture...yes, he is totally checking out africa. that's right, pratt...you and mommy will for sure be going there to adopt your next brother or sister :)

also, we celebrated aunt christie's 18th birthday on monday! we went to her favorite place...benihanas! yummy, yummy! i know that pratt will love sushi and fried rice just like his mom and dad! and his aunt christie :) we love you christie!

You have the best chin on the planet...Pratt is a lucky little man!
I still can't get over how grown up he looks.
And I hope you do adopt a baby from Africa! What a lucky kid!
I told Adrian if he really wants more children, he needs to realllly start loving the idea of adoption.
You're such a good person Hannah. And your children will be good people too. We're lucky to have you!

Love the chin comparison! He definitely has the cutest facial expressions and that TOTALLY reminds me of you and all the crazy expression I got from you in the GA office or class.

You are the BEST!!!

About Me

My photo
i'm a girl who likes to write. not a girl that's necessarily good at writing. it's cathartic, i think. and boy do i need that from time to time. i married a wonderful man named clint in may of 2007. he is everything i am not. he is calm. he makes plans. he is organized. his truck is always clean. his clothes are hung by types of shirt/color/size/etc. i'm full of nervous energy. i'm spur of the moment. i can't ever find what i'm looking for. we live in my car...pretty much. i'm lucky if my clothes are within ten feet of my closet. God gave us a precious angel of a baby in september of 2008. his name is pratt allen. he is 2.5 years old.we have another little one on the way. his name is max wesley. and he is due may 19th. somehow i'll be the mother of two boys. craaaaa.zy. i spend my days cleaning house. picking worms and caterpillars out of the flower beds. cooking meals. shopping at target. washing clothes. playing on the floor. reading books. doing puzzles. traveling to sonic. and the library. and blogging. i hope you enjoy our blog. feel free to leave a comment. hopefully it's a nice one. i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.
