at one point during the production, mom leaned over to me and said, "pratt doesn't know this yet, but his pop pop knows every single word of this entire show." true story.
i honestly didn't think pratt would make it five minutes. but he did.
he made it through the entire first act!!
and it was truly all thanks to cookie, her stash of m&ms and starbursts and his (newfound) love for singing and dancing. and all things brightly colored a la yo gabba gabba. or as he calls it, "gabba abba".
he loved all the songs. he loved swaying to the music and bouncing up and down on our laps. we all kept looking at him in amazement. his big brown eyes were pretty much glued to the characters the entire time. he really dug the munchkins. and the lion. he kept saying, "lion! lion!"
thank you again, cookie for letting us go with you. and megan and bradynn, we had such a good time. bradynn, you looked adorable!

this was on our way home. he made it through the first act, and we decided not to push our luck. it was 845 when intermission started, so we made a quick exit.
pratt, your daddy and i were so proud of you. i wish that i could be more calm during these grown up trips. but i seem to worry the entire time. your dad and cookie are much better than me. but that's genetics....not being in my favor.
we love you so much. and you make us so proud to be your parents. xoxo.
