a few things to remember.
one. pratt now has seven teeth. four on top. and three on bottom. it's his bottom left, next to the middle one. clara...help me out. what is the letter for that? baby teeth are letters, right? i noticed it poking out a few days ago...and now it's pretty much broken through the skin. i CANNOT imagine how bad that must hurt. ouch.
two. he is so incredibly close to walking. he has started getting up to a stand with no problem from the middle of the living room floor. not holding onto anything. just standing up on his own. and he's lost all fear. which is totally scary. he moves quickly now by cruising. and he will take a few steps and then fall toward you. if you don't catch him, he WILL face plant. trust me. i know.
three. his dad is still his favorite. you should see the kids face when he sees clint walk through the door after work. or when we go up to his office for lunch. it's like clint is the greatest thing since sliced bread. well, i guess he is pretty great.
four. he has his first halloween party at kids day out tomorrow. he can't wear his costume, but he will be wearing his halloween shirt. and they will be trick or treating for snacks. which i thought was super cute. i'm going to go up there early and watch them. it should be fun!
five. he is loving milk. still takes two bottles. one in the morning and one at night. he's still more likely to eat whatever you're eating. and he would much rather feed himself than have you feed him.
six. he's trying to say things. some of which include: deer, dog, dad, mom, cookie, banana, nana, yoda, chip, done. he totally pointed at the lay's potato chip bag yesterday and said, "chip". clint and i about died. oh...and when you point to the cow, he makes a "mmmm" sound. it's short for "moo." i'm certain of it. ha. but seriously...i am.
seven. he laughs the hardest when ace runs around with something in his mouth. like one of his toys. ace does this thing where he shakes whatever is in his mouth and pratt thinks it's the funniest thing he has ever seen. he loses his breath laughing.
eight. he's finally starting to like kids day out. that only took...two months. yay pratt!
he makes me happier than i ever thought possible. i will be having a crummy day and then i realize and remember how lucky i am. i have my health. my family. and we aren't struggling to eat or survive. and those things aren't always a given. so at the end of the day, i say my prayers. and thank God for the many blessings in my life.
have great weeks.

About Me
- hannah
- i'm a girl who likes to write. not a girl that's necessarily good at writing. it's cathartic, i think. and boy do i need that from time to time. i married a wonderful man named clint in may of 2007. he is everything i am not. he is calm. he makes plans. he is organized. his truck is always clean. his clothes are hung by types of shirt/color/size/etc. i'm full of nervous energy. i'm spur of the moment. i can't ever find what i'm looking for. we live in my car...pretty much. i'm lucky if my clothes are within ten feet of my closet. God gave us a precious angel of a baby in september of 2008. his name is pratt allen. he is 2.5 years old.we have another little one on the way. his name is max wesley. and he is due may 19th. somehow i'll be the mother of two boys. craaaaa.zy. i spend my days cleaning house. picking worms and caterpillars out of the flower beds. cooking meals. shopping at target. washing clothes. playing on the floor. reading books. doing puzzles. traveling to sonic. and the library. and blogging. i hope you enjoy our blog. feel free to leave a comment. hopefully it's a nice one. i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.
