finally.

i've been out of commission lately.  our internet card for the computer died and well, it just isn't the same on an ipad or my phone.  so i've been lonely.  and inside my head.  and i've had so many things to write about, but haven't been able to.

several nights, i snuck downstairs around 1 am, and tried to pull up word.  type there.  it wasn't the same.  it kept trying to make my words capital ones.  and i just couldn't take it.  i even went to writing in a journal.  but my wrist hurt.  so i realized i needed to get a new card.  so i did.  and i'm back.  and i already feel so much better.

not much has changed around here.  max has two teeth and has two more coming in.  pratt still loves all things boy and still loves finding me first thing in the morning so i can hold him.  this will never get old.  never, ever.

clint is good.  he bought property for a new office.  and this morning we took a saturday morning drive for donuts and to drive by the future office.  :)  i love this.  because i know he is so proud.  and that makes me so happy.  i remember first meeting him in college.  i never dreamed he would be my husband.  i never dreamed we would have two beautiful babies.  that he would be a dentist.  and that i would be a mom.  and that he would love me more than he loves anything else in this world.

i'm really good.  today is day 75 of my p90x workout.  i cannot believe i've made it this far.  i'm so proud of myself.  and i can't remember ever saying that about myself.  i've dropped 2 sizes.  i've lost more than 12 inches.  i'm in clothes from my honeymoon.  it's crazy town.  i've come to the realization that all you need is a little hard work.  and that it really does pay off.

in 75 days i've realized that my body is MY body.  and that the way God intended me to look is not how He intended heidi klum to look.  but just me.  hannah.  and i wish i could go back to that self conscious girl in high school and tell her so many things.  i'll save them for liza.  and i'll never let her be in the dark place i've been.

my high for today was looking in my backseat and seeing my two boys happy.  driving down our driveway.  and seeing them look at each other.  and smile.  i'm so very blessed.

here is pratt easter morning.  i think it's my favorite picture ever.  ever, ever, ever.  clara made him the bowtie.  because clara can do anything.  make anything.  we love her.  and pratt loves his bowtie.

toofy.

he has a top tooth and a bottom tooth. and two more coming in.

I think he's beautiful. and I wish he would stop getting big.

today.

We have two teeth!!!

Pratt is so laid back.

Sweet max.

He loves baby Einstein. And it's the only thing that keeps him happy in the car.

Telling me he doesn't want "anyfing" from sonic. With his clint hands.

He ate 3 of these today. It's the only way he will eat sandwiches. Thank you, cookie for figuring it out!!

brothers.

if I had known how much max would love his big brother, I would have wished for twins. So Pratt could be loved so incredibly much by two siblings.

He could watch him all day. And just smile.

Pratt is hunting Easter eggs. Max cannot take his eyes off him.

Siblings are the best.

a day at the mall.

I came across this picture today and forgot I hadn't posted it.

My wonderful friend Laura called two weeks ago and asked if she could take Pratt for the morning. It was on a Friday. She knew Max was not feeling well. And wanted to take Pratt so Max and I could rest.

So she took Pratt, Zoe and her two girls to....wait for it....the MALL! I don't know how she does it.

Pratt took his first trip to Justice. And attempted to buy me a yellow tank. (that would have never fit ;) Laura talked him into a really cool soccer ball.

Today I'm thankful for good friends. I never knew I would be so blessed 3.5 years ago when we moved here. Its so nice to be loved.

saturday.

Saturday is by far my favorite day. Usually, if the weather is pretty, we spend it outside.

Daddy is always home. We eat donuts for breakfast and have movie night in the evening. It's how I imagined my life to be when I was little and dreamed of being a grown up mommy. Only I didn't have any idea about laundry. And dirty floors. But still, even with those things...our Saturday's are perfect.

Here is max. With his waffle earring.

The way I feel when I look at this picture cannot be put into words.

I'm proud of the man I chose to be their daddy. I hope dad can say the same about me. I truly believe they are so blessed to grow up helping him. Following in his footsteps.

How big does he look?! Heartbreaking.

Putting his handprint and name in the concrete. And yes. Clint needs new work jeans. Uh huh. Yes.

Love it.

And nothing says "country" quite like a kid peeing on a propane tank.

I'm so blessed.

About Me

My photo
i'm a girl who likes to write. not a girl that's necessarily good at writing. it's cathartic, i think. and boy do i need that from time to time. i married a wonderful man named clint in may of 2007. he is everything i am not. he is calm. he makes plans. he is organized. his truck is always clean. his clothes are hung by types of shirt/color/size/etc. i'm full of nervous energy. i'm spur of the moment. i can't ever find what i'm looking for. we live in my car...pretty much. i'm lucky if my clothes are within ten feet of my closet. God gave us a precious angel of a baby in september of 2008. his name is pratt allen. he is 2.5 years old.we have another little one on the way. his name is max wesley. and he is due may 19th. somehow i'll be the mother of two boys. craaaaa.zy. i spend my days cleaning house. picking worms and caterpillars out of the flower beds. cooking meals. shopping at target. washing clothes. playing on the floor. reading books. doing puzzles. traveling to sonic. and the library. and blogging. i hope you enjoy our blog. feel free to leave a comment. hopefully it's a nice one. i tend to wear my heart on my sleeve.
